Infinite eons have passed through the labyrinthine hierarchy of deep fusing drones, tectonic soundscapes, percussions and ritual instruments - sonically sculpturing of that which lies deeper than matter, time and space.

The intriguing tone colour on 'The Nine Colours Of The Threshold‘ is generally one of heroic majesty, a kind of epic intimacy, with light and sparkling fragments. It is the narrow, hidden tracks that lead back to our lost homeland, what contains the solution to the last mysteries is not the ugly scar that life´s rasp leaves on us, but the fine, almost invisible writing that is engraved on our body.

'The Fall'/'Dennis Johnson's November Deconstructed' is a new take on Johnson’s 1959 minimalist piece 'November' by the iconic "dark ambient" artist Lustmord and celebrated classical pianist Nicolas Horvath. Here, the duo strip the original back even further and play subversively with the core elements to deliver ruminative, brooding sounds which shapeshift between classical minimalism and pure drone.

Brilliant new recordings by the prolific cosmopolitan (currently residing in Berlin) MICHAEL NORTHAM. "Suhina" is a notion for the sound of the wind moving through the trees. Instead of doing field recordings of wind MICHAEL NORTHAM tried to capture this feeling & the essence of this process through instrumental recordings from Indonesian flute & keyboard. Inspired by Cormac Mc Carthy´s novel 'The Road', the two Norwegian masterminds Haerleif Langas and Jan Roger Petterson joined forces to create this stunning split album. This release brings finally new recordings since Northaunt´s 'Horizon' from 2006 and Svartsinn´s 'Elegies for the End' from 2009 (both CDs released on Cyclic Law).

'The Borrowed World' is the soundtrack for a world in decay, directed by the emotive and grandly melancholic signature of both projects. This is isolationist ambient music that unfolds its meditative atmosphere with majestic and melodic waves of droning sounds, environmental field recordings from the icy landscapes of the deepest North and magnificent Cello recordings of Amund Ulvestad.

The ashes of the late world carried on the bleak and temporal winds to and fro in the void. Carried forth and scattered and carried forth again. Everything uncoupled from it's shoring. Unsupported in the ashen air. Sustained by a breath, trembling and brief. If only my heart were stone.

This is the gatefold vinyl version that includes the CD as well in slip case. Limited to 300 copies.

With its majestic atmosphere, complex dronesaceping and deep cushions of textural shamanic percussions Martin Stürtzer paints with his 5th album of Phelios another aural picture. This is channeling the unimaginable and connects with the cubes and subterranean caverns of echoing, vaporous, wormily honey-combed mountains of madness. Epically scaled soundwaves creating a fantastic, daemoniac glimpse, among the churning zenith-clouds, of what lay back of those other violet westward mountains which the Old Ones had shunned and feared.
